On the next day, the King of Atuni brought his servants, wives, and slaves from his own palace to the palace of the First God Emperor. He was granted audience once more, and his ministers, servants, wives, and slaves, were brought before the First God Emperor.

And the King of Atuni spoke unto The First God Emperor, Oh most beloved son of the gods, I have brought before you my servants, wives, and slaves. Take any number of them, and take my previous offer as well, but let my kingdom be free. 

 Then the First God Emperor answered the King of Atuni, you have my demands, King of Atuni, and they have not changed. We will take your entire country into our fold. I demand obedience from Atuni. 

And the First God Emperor sent the King of Atuni away to sleep in the palace, where his ministers and servants, wives, and slaves, slept also.
